TANGELA CUMMINGS

Strong, vibrant, energetic, multi-talented, professional and creative genius are just a few words synonymously used in the depiction of Tangela Cummings. Where most people try to think outside the box, Tangela sees no box at all. This South Florida native has some amazing accomplishments under her belt in a fairly short time span and her future is undeniable. She attended, Miami-Dade College and Florida International University majoring in Advertising, Marketing and Design. During her studies, Tangela quickly worked her way up the corporate ladder. She worked for a major financial institution and by the tender age of 25 she was promoted as the youngest Assistant Vice-President in the company’s history. Prior to accepting the assistant V.P. position, she was given the opportunity to work in the marketing department, where she created ad campaign’s, sale promotions, graphics, planned company events. Despite a blossoming and already successful corporate career, Tangela’s passion for design was ever present.

Tangela’s passion was finally quenched when she boldly left the corporate arena, despite popular opinion and the financial stability of her sky rocketing career, to establish her own private company known as Admarde. Admarde, which stands for Ad-Advertising, Mar-Marketing and De-Design is the graphic and web-design company she birthed incorporating her unique style and amazing creativity. She and her husband Harold Cummings II, simultaneously founded Drummer Boy Sound Productions Inc., also known as, DBS, which is a full-production company equipped with live sound, lighting, staging, video and backline instruments. They established and incorporated Admarde and Drummer Boy Sound Productions, Inc. in 2003. After only five years, from the conception of both companies, they formed a third company called Admardecor’ Event Design and Planning Group. Admardecor’ is a blend of both Admarde and DBSfor event planning and design. This powerhouse collaboration uniquely blends savvy creativity, style and design with top of the line sound and lighting catapulting their clients ordinary events to an extraordinary experience.

Their headquarters operates out of their 3,000-foot warehouse/offices in Miami, Florida. Their passion, integrity, professionalism and high quality service is second to none and has afforded them the opportunity to successfully work with prominent clientele of all facets such as major athletes, celebrities, artist and musicians. They range from Dwayne Wade, Robin Thicke, Rihanna, and Israel Houghton to name a few. In 2008, Admardecor’ received it’s big break when hired as the exclusive Event Designer for reality star, Will Castro of Unique Whips. Tangela was hired to create and design the Grand Opening Party for Unique Whips which relocated to South Florida from New York. The celebrity list included the likes of Busta Rhymes, Bad Boy Camp, Fat Joe and a host of others. The entire event was televised and will be airing in 2010.

Tangela is courageous and her passion in creativity is expressed via many different avenues; through graphic design, by coordinating and planning events and production management. Due to her beauty, vibrance and energy she has been invited to host various conferences, conventions and workshops. In 2004, Tangela was invited to host the Southeastern Conference in Orlando, Florida. The largest conference within that organization which was broadcasted live around the world.

Tangela’s future plans are limitless and include touring with a major artist, starring in her own reality show, and expanding services more extensively in California and the New York market.
